Weekday wandered to this small quiet village. Coffeeshop opposite the chinese school. Very "kaw" kopi and cham c. A friendly local recommended the pan mee. Not bad, al-dente noodle and tasty soup. Will comeback next time for pipa duck which only have on weekends.

Great food. Duck is nice, crispy skin. Porridge has 3 flavours, fish, prawns or crab. The kuih also nice. Not overly sweet

Sabah Pan Mee is basically classic pan mee- pleasant and fulfilling and not competing with how much chilli and umami you can squeeze into a bowl. Please drop by and gain some perspective this 2025 Nasi lemak is good too.

The seafood is as fresh as it can be. Fried oyster omelette is to die for as it is not oily and starchy and for the roasted duck, the skin very crispy and it's nice to dip it with the sweet sauce that accompany it.

Wow, my favorite "Tiger bites Lion" or hor-ka-sai,HKS. So far, this joint is my really really favorite HKS outlet. It cost RM2.30. Duck rice only available on weekend. This duck rice is a main draw for weekend hikers. This is a good location for one to enter Penang National Park without paying entrance fee. I had pan mee, dry and soup. Both tasted acceptable. Weekday is very quiet in the remote town of Penang.
